DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO ROME HIGH SCHOOL
*Please note: Rome High varsity football games are not played at the school. Barron Stadium is located in downtown Rome. From Rome High go west on Veterans Memorial Highway to Highway 27 (Martha Berry Blvd.) Go left (south) on Martha Berry Blvd. This will take you straight to the stadium which will be on your left after you pass Floyd Hospital.

From points north:
Take Hwy 53 south to Rome and turn right on State Route 1 (Veterans Memorial Highway). Proceed to the first traffic light and turn left into the school parking lot. Rome High will be on your right.
OR
Take Hwy 27 south to Rome and turn left on State Route 1 (Veterans Memorial Highway). Proceed to the second traffic light on Veterans Memorial. Rome High will be on your right.
From the east: Take Hwy 411 west to Rome. Turn right on State Route 1 (Veterans Memorial Highway) and proceed to Rome High. After crossing Hwy 53, turn left at the next traffic light into the school parking lot.
From the South on Hwy 101 or Hwy 27: Follow either route into town, merging into Turner McCall Blvd. Follow Turner McCall until you turn right on Hwy 27 North (Martha Berry Blvd) at the intersection near Floyd Hospital. Follow Hwy 27 north and turn right on State Route 1 (Veterans Memorial Hwy). Proceed to the second traffic light on Veterans Memorial. Rome High will be on your right.

Dalton - Take Hwy 53 north to Calhoun and get on 1-75 north. Take exit #333, Walnut Street, turn right, go about 1 mi. and turn left on Tibbs Rd (Steak & Shake on corner). Continue on Tibbs Rd to Waugh Street, turn right, go past Dalton High to the library and turn right, stadium is 2 blocks ahead.
East Paulding - Take Hwy 411 to Cartersville, get on Hwy 41 South. 9.4 limes south of the Cartersville Kroger you will turn right on Hwy 92 (BP station). Go 4 miles to a 4 way stop, turn left for 4 miles, then right on East Paulding Dr. School is 1 block on the left. (55 min) !
Gordon Central- Hwy 53 to Calhoun as if going to 1-75, go past Walmart and Kroger shopping centers. Turn left at the Krystal on Curtis Dr.. Stay on the road until you come to an intersection with Arby's on the right. Go straight across the intersection to the school.
Hiram - Take Hwy 101 to Rockmart, turn left on Hwy 278. Continue on Hwy 278, look for the "West Hiram Parkway", turn
right, go about 1 mile, turn left on Ballentine Road which dead ends at the school. (60 min)
LaFayette - Take Hwy 27 north toward Summerville for approx. 38 miles (from intersection of Rome bypass and Martha
Berry Blvd), north of Summerville, look for Round Pond Rd. turn right, school is on the left. (40 min)
LFO - Take Hwy 53 north to Calhoun and get on 1-75 north. Take exit #350, Ga Hwy 2/Battlefield Parkway, turn left off the ramp. The school will be on the left after about 4-5 miles.
Paulding Co. - Take Hwy 101 to Rockmart, then left on Hwy 278 toward the Atlanta area. Tum right on Hwy 61. School is on the left. (60 min.)
Ridgeland - Take Hwy 52 to Calhoun, then 1-75 north to exit #350, Battlefield Parkway. Turn left on Battlefield Pkwy, go past LFO, cross over Hwy 27. Ridgeland will be on the left several miles past the Hwy 27 intersection.
Ringgold - Take Hwy 53 to Calhoun and get on 1-75 North. Take the s,econd Ringgold, exit #348. Tum right from the ramp, go 1/2 mile to Hwy 41 (at CVS store), turn right, go .4 miles to next light. Turn left on Sparks St.. School is on the right.
Southeast Whitfield - Take 1-75 North to exit #328. Turn right on the bypass. Go approx.. 6 miles to Riverbend Rd., Turn left. The entrance to the school is immediately on the left. . (50 MIN)
Woodland - Take Hwy 411 toward Cartersville. 8.6 mi. past Texaco turn right on Macedonia Rd, go 2.6 mi. and turn left on Euharlee Rd. Go 3.4 mi. and take a right on Covered Bridge Rd. Go 3.6 mi. (passing Plant Bowen) to Hwy 113, turn left (toward Cartersville) and travel 5 mi. Turn right on Hwy 61 (Chevron station on corner) for 1 mile to the end of the airport then turn left on Old Alabama Rd. The school is on the left, stadium is behind the school. (45 min)
