Rome City Schools staff hit the road to get a chance to have in-depth discussions with other school system administrators and educators on Tuesday, March 26 when they traveled to Douglas County Schools for Regional Superintendent Cabinet Meeting.
The day featured presentations and talks with Rome City Schools Superintendent Dr. Eric L. Holland, Clayton County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Anthony W. Smith, and Douglas County Schools Superintendent Trent North.
The superintendents delved into solutions for current academic challenges, shared effective strategies, and outlined future plans aimed at elevating student achievement across their respective districts.
A highlight of the visit was an insightful tour of the Douglas County School System Legacy Arena, which is currently under construction and scheduled to be unveiled in 2024.
“We would like to thank Superintendent North and his staff for hosting a great day of discussion and learning,” Dr. Holland said. “Rome City Schools is always looking for ways to learn and collaborate to find new ways to help our students.”
