If you’re looking for something fun for your kids to do this summer, then check out the assortment of camps offered by Rome High School. This summer, Rome High is offering camps for youngsters in nine sports as well as a theater camp.
The offerings kick off on Tuesday, May 21 with a free football camp at the high school for kids in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. On June 3 and 4, Rome will play host to a track and field camp at Barron Stadium for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade. The camp cost is $40 which includes a T-shirt and instruction. For more information, email kelly.carter@rcs.rome.ga.us.

Rome High’s Theatre Department will hold its Theater Camp at the Rome High Performing Arts Center from June 10 to 14. Deadline to register is May 25. The camp is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and is for kids ages seven to 12. The $170 cost includes lunch, a snack, a T-shirt, and two tickets to the show. There will be two sessions of cheer camp at Rome High with the first running from June 25 to 27 and the second running from July 9 to 11.
Both sessions will be for kids in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. The June session costs $50 which includes a T-shirt and snack.
