Four Rome Middle School students were honored by the Rome Rotary during a lunch held at the Coosa Country Club for their outstanding performance in the classroom and in the hallways. Lilly Blanchard, Aisya Powell, Dana Khatib and Ava Wilson (left to right) were selected by their teachers for this very special honor.
Our students were recognized by the Rome Rotary Club’s Terrific Student Program,” said LaTronja Stockwell, counselor at RMS. “Students who demonstrate the willingness to excel or perform beyond what is expected are selected. Teachers nominate eighth- grade students based on positive attitude and enthusiasm, determination and effort, and attendance.
