The Board voted and approved the appointment of West Central Elementary School’s new principal, Jennifer Uldrick.
Uldrick has severed as the assistant principal of West Central Elementary School since 2018. Before being named as the assistant principal for West Central, she served as the school’s literacy coach staring in 2010. Uldrick holds a bachelors from Clemson University in Recreational Therapy and Tourism Management, a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia Southern University, an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont University, and Tier 1 and a current pursuit of Tier 2 Educational Leadership Certificates from the University of West Georgia.
She has a strong background in literacy, a focus the RCS system continually works to improve. Uldrick has also served in leadership positions during her career with Rome City Schools and works closely with the Trust Based Relational Intervention Program and the district’s Positive Behavior and Intervention Supports efforts.

“My time serving West Central over the last twelve years has been a true joy,” Uldrick said after the announcement, “and I am honored to serve West Central in this new capacity as principal. I look forward to cultivating a safe, equitable, and caring environment for our students and their families. I also hope to inspire teachers, staff members, and families to realize their strengths and use them to equip students to grow and become responsible life-long learners.”
