Rome High School Senior Alonte Lewis was recently awarded the Exchange Club's A.C.E. (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) Award, which recognizes high school students who have overcome great physical, emotional, or social obstacles and are now eligible for high school graduation.
Alonte shared his story and was the overall winner of a $500 scholarship.
Congratulations to Alonte! We wish him much success in his future endeavors!


A big thank you to University of Georgia Head Football Coach, Kirby Smart, for stopping by Rome High School today! Coach Smart met with our Rome Wolves coaching staff, thanking them for their contributions to football in the state of Georgia.

Another fabulous Friday in the Rome High School CTAE Food for Life class. Learning a life skill while also getting a delicious snack = a double win!

The halls of Rome City's Elm Street, Anna K. Davie, and West Central Elementary schools were filled with a bunch of ole' timers today as the kiddos celebrated the 100th day of school! If you look closely, you might even see some canes, orthotic shoes, and trifocals!

A BIG congrats to our Rome High School AP students & teachers, who were recognized w/ the prestigious College Board Female Diversity Award for Computer Science. Only 1,100 schools earned the award WORLDWIDE, which requires 50% of AP Computer Science examinees be female students!
