There are countless things for RCS to celebrate here at the end of the 2021-2022 academic year. As the RHS Sound of Seven Hills performed their Spring Concert on March 31, 2022, it was a shining moment for the arts.
The symphonic band, led by Directors Tab Brown and Adam Daniel, began the program with moving pieces like "Courage" by Larry Clark and "Drive" by Patrick Rozell. They capped their set with an energetic portrayal of courage and leadership with Brian Balmages' "Escape from the Deep."
The wind ensemble, led by RHS Band Director Chad Hannah, added light-hearted energy with John Phillip Sousa's "New York Hippodrome" and Clare Grundman's "American Folk Rhapsody No.2."
They ended the concert with a profound performance of "Salvation is Created" as arranged by David L. Walters.
Seniors were recognized and Superintendent Louis Byars was presented with a congratulatory plaque in honor of his retirement.
