
We are proud to announce that Lily Headrick represented our chapter in the Area 1 Discussion Meet, where she showcased her knowledge and passion for agriculture by discussing current industry topics with fellow FFA members.
Lily's hard work and dedication earned her the 1st place title, and she will now advance to compete at the 97th Annual Georgia State FFA Convention & Expo, taking place April 23rd-26th.


FCCLA went into the state competition on a mission for achievement and accomplished it. Mrs. Ruzcidlo, Mrs. Price, and Chef Evans did an outstanding job leading the group!
8 gold and 5 silver medals from the STAR Events Competition.
Gold medalists: Melanie Ramirez-Sian, Nancy Puac-Mendaz, Diego Reyes, Joshua Eaves, Samantha Acevedo, Alexa Acevedo, Madison Major, and Cierra Mobbs.
Silver medal recipients: Ashlyn Ixmay-Vicente, Desiree Garcia, Leslie Vicente-Ramos, Lashmi Rodriguez, Addison Marshall.
We also have 4 students competing at the State Events: Adalyn Tyree, Kevin Lam, Diego Orellana, and Montana Boggs.
Kevin Lam was named #2 in the state of GA among all High Schoolers for his Digital Delish Dish project and received a $75 cash prize.
Cierra Mobbs, in addition to receiving a gold medal for her Sustainability Project, advanced to the FCCLA National Conference in Orlando, Fl.

The YOY recognizes and honors a student who is gifted, and who has excelled in all areas: academics, leadership, school clubs and activities, and community volunteer experiences.


Congratulations to Cierra Mobbs, who advances to the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL, July 5-9th! This is Cierra's second trip to the NLC. Her project this year was in the Sustainability Challenge category, and she presented a project on the problems with plastics in our modern world. She was awarded a gold medal at the State Leadership Conference on March 26th in Columbus, GA. We are very proud of her accomplishments! #GoWolves

Congratulations to Voces Romana, our premiere high school concert choir, on a fantastic performance at the Georgia Music Educators Association's Large Group Performance Evaluation at Pepperell High School. The students in Voces Romana earned superior ratings in both performance and sight-reading.

Grand Finale won its second competition in a row this past Saturday at the Music City Invitational in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the first time that it has ever won two competitions in the same season. Here are the awards they earned:
1st place Small Mixed Division (out of five schools)
2nd Runner Up Overall (out of 12 schools)
Best male soloist in a show: Vander Jones
