Are you a 5th, 6th, or 7th grade student at Rome City Schools that loves to sing, dance, and compete for amazing awards? If so, you are invited to auditions (tryouts) for Grand Illusion Show Choir at Rome Middle School. We will meet in the RMS Chorus room on Monday, May 5th and Tuesday, May 6th after school until 5:30pm. All you need is written parent permission to stay after school for both days! Attention all 8th graders at Rome Middle! Rome High School Grand Finale show choir will be having auditions on May 13-14 at 4 PM in the high school choir room. Anyone who wants to audition should also come either May 5,6, or 7 at 4 PM to learn the audition dance. (You may come one day or all three days to work on the audition dance.) Come and be a part of one of the best competitive show choirs in the south! If you have any questions, please email Dr. Goss, the director, at cody.goss@rcs.rome.ga.us. If you love to sing, but dancing is not your thing, come and be a part of our concert choir. No auditions are required. Please let Dr. Goss know if you are interested in having choir put on your class schedule.

The 24-25 RMS yearbook deadline has been extended! The absolute last day to order one is March 21, 2025. If you have not gotten yours, do not delay!

RMS Chorus has been working very hard to prepare for the Georgia Music Educators Association's Large Group Performance Evaluation. The students will perform songs for judges that will rate them on a scale and give comments for how to improve their performance. This event is open to the public and is free admission! RMS Chorus performs at 10:20am on Wednesday, March 19th. Join us to support these amazingly talented students!

Rome Middle's Grand Illusion and Rome High's Grand Finale Show Choirs invite you to one final show of the 2024-2025 season! You don't want to miss these award winning performances! The 8th Grade Formal will be on Friday, April 18th from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the Black Box at the College and Career Academy. Students that have not had OSS since March 3rd may purchase a ticket for $20 in the cafeteria during morning arrival starting the week of March 17th. You must present your ticket and your student ID to enter the dance. Concessions will be provided.
