Dr. Dennis Drummond and the West End faculty welcomed parents and students to the school gymnasium last Thursday, March 17 for a movie night at the West End Theater.
Drummond said this was one way he and the teachers hope to strengthen the bond between the school and the community. “We are always excited to offer family engagement activities for our school family. Tonight, we have a concession stand, and we will be showing “Sing 2” on a large screen,” he said. “We want our families to know that they are welcome here, and we are always looking for opportunities to spend time enjoying something special.”
And since this was St. Patrick’s Day, everyone made it home without a pinch. Green was the color of the day and the smiling faces were evidence that all found a pot filled with fun.
